In-Process Audit to Final Inspection

Continuous quality oversight at every production stage — from first article through to pre-shipment final inspection.

When components are manufactured thousands of kilometres away, quality cannot be an afterthought — it must be embedded at every stage of production. Waiting until a shipment arrives at your warehouse to discover dimensional non-conformances, wrong materials, or surface defects is a costly and avoidable problem. PARCOMP's In-Process Audit to Final Inspection service ensures that quality is actively monitored and verified throughout the entire production run, not just at the end.

Our quality intervention framework covers the full production lifecycle. At the raw material stage, we verify that incoming materials conform to the specified grade, heat number, and mechanical properties, as evidenced by Material Test Certificates (MTCs) from accredited laboratories. During production, our resident or visiting inspectors conduct in-process audits at critical manufacturing stages: first-off checks, dimensional sampling during batch production, monitoring of key process parameters such as temperature, torque, and surface treatment times, and verification that operators are following the approved control plan.

Pre-shipment final inspection is conducted on the finished, packed batch before goods leave the factory. We follow internationally recognised inspection standards — AQL sampling, 100% visual inspection for critical features, CMM-based dimensional verification, and functional testing where required. Our inspectors use customer-approved inspection plans and report against your drawing tolerances. A comprehensive Inspection Report with photographic evidence is provided, giving you a complete quality dossier before you release payment or approve shipment.

For clients who require a higher level of assurance, we also offer embedded quality management — in which a PARCOMP quality representative is stationed at the manufacturer's facility for the duration of a critical production run. This ensures real-time issue resolution, eliminates the lag between defect occurrence and corrective action, and gives you confidence that your quality standards are upheld at the source, every single day.

Frequently Asked Questions

We follow internationally recognised standards including ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 for AQL attribute sampling, ISO 2859-1, customer-specific inspection plans, and drawing-specified inspection requirements. We are flexible in adopting your company-specific inspection procedures.
Yes. For critical features, first production batches, or when a process is not yet proven stable, we offer 100% inspection against specified dimensions and visual criteria. We recommend this approach for new suppliers and new part introductions.
For factories in major industrial hubs — Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Rajkot, NCR — we can typically mobilise within 24 to 48 hours. For more remote locations, allow 48 to 72 hours. We also maintain a network of trained regional inspection partners for rapid deployment.
The report includes product identification details, quantity checked, AQL level and sample size, dimensional check results against drawing, visual inspection findings with photographs, material certificate verification, packaging assessment, and a clear pass or hold decision.
Our inspectors carry calibrated hand tools including vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and go/no-go gauges. For CMM-based inspection or specialised measurement, we coordinate with accredited third-party labs or utilise the factory CMM under supervised conditions.
